Study design in Parkinson clinical research

Clinical research can include observational studies, interventional trials and different research phases. Participant count and duration alone do not determine evidence strength. Eligibility criteria, comparison groups and prespecified objectives need to be considered together.

Check for a protocol or registration identifier, definitions of primary and secondary outcomes and handling of missing data. Trial status can change over time. Before making a participation decision, consult the authorized study registry and responsible research center. A bibliographic entry here is neither an enrollment application nor an assessment of clinical eligibility.
